What the strict calculator tests
The output is none, strict, or ambiguous near a node boundary. It shows each longitude, directed degrees from Rahu, relative arc, node axis, contained semicircle when applicable, epsilon, engine settings, ruleset version, and warnings. type, partialCondition, and remedies stay null.
Geometry must be visible
“Between the nodes” is not sufficient as an implementation note. The method normalizes angular differences, reports each body's directed distance from Rahu, uses the two directed semicircles, and classifies any body within one arc minute of Rahu or Ketu as a node-boundary case.
All seven classical planets must satisfy the same strict test. The calculator cannot ignore one body, round a longitude across the axis, or turn an almost-contained chart into a positive result without a separately named rule.
Variants excluded from v1
Partial Kaal Sarp, Kaal Amrita, cancellation, intensity, named types, and remedial classifications are excluded. A future type mapping would require separate sources, fixtures, specialist review, and an explicit version; this calculator does not infer one.
Birth data and precision
Instant-specific planetary and node longitudes need a date, local time, and IANA timezone. This geometry does not calculate houses or a type, so it does not request a city or coordinates. Unknown time cannot be silently converted to noon.
Near a node boundary, the declared one-arc-minute tolerance produces an ambiguous result. The current form requires a minute-precision time and does not propagate an input-uncertainty interval. No value is rounded before the geometric classification.
